CNC bending

We have recently installed 2 brand-new Amada 100 tonne and 170 tonne press brakes. Our new machines come with Amada's ‘Instant Reactive Beam' for consistent accuracy and stop - start technology for reduced power consumption.

Model HFE M2 1003 - Force: 1000kN (100 tonnes), press beam length: 3110mm.

Model HFE M2 1703 - Force: 1070kN (170 tonnes), press beam length: 3110mm.

CNC punching

The installation of a Wiedemann CNC Centrum 3000 Turret Punch provides us with more options to handle your requirements. Whether it be in mild steel, stainless or aluminium and a batch run or something more bespoke, we have the solution.

Self-clinching fastener press

To meet the demands of our clients, we have recently installed a new Pemserter Series 4 Press. The Pemserter series 4 is completely pneumatic, provides 6 tonnes of force and has a 45.7cm throat depth which provides clearance for a variety of configurations. The press is designed to install self-clinching fasteners from M2 to M10 in steel and sizes up to M12 in aluminium.

Tube bending

The demand for tube bending has increased significantly at Wayland Sheet Metal & Fabrications. We have therefore invested in and installed a DB-39 Twin Head Tube Bender. The bending capacity for this machine is such that it will bend up to 38mm diameter x 2mm mild steel and stainless steel, subject to a maximum length of 3 metres.

Welding

We utilise TIG and MIG Welding facilities for light to medium fabrications up to 5 tonnes in weight. If required, we can also provide aluminium and stainless steel welding. As a business that takes great pride in providing a quality service, you won't be surprised to learn that all our welders are trained and qualified (coded to Lloyd's Standard).
